We're Heather and Mike, and Dancing Meadows is a dream we're building together with faith, family, hard work, and a love for creating things that bring joy to others.
Our hope is simple: to work side by side, use the gifts God has given us, and build something that honors Christ. Through Dancing Meadows, we hope to share His love in everyday ways: welcoming people, creating things with care, and serving others well.
Heather's love of flowers runs deep in her family roots. Some of her favorite memories are with her grandmother, Muv, from building a rose garden together to traveling through Europe and visiting the beautiful gardens of Paris and London. But those roots reach back even further.
Muv's family heritage is tied to Greenbrier Farms in Chesapeake, Virginia, where her father and his brothers carried forward the farm their father had started. Growing things, caring for the land, and finding beauty in what surrounds us have been woven through Heather's family for generations.
Today, that story continues. Heather shares her love of flowers with her husband, mom and children, adding another generation to something that began long before Dancing Meadows. In many ways, Dancing Meadows feels like a new chapter of an old family story.
What started with Heather's love of flowers and candle-making has grown into something we're creating together. Today, Dancing Meadows includes candles and home fragrances, custom bouquets, locally grown flowers, creative workshops, home décor, and one-of-a-kind finds. Each new step brings us closer to the life we've dreamed about: growing, creating, and working side by side.
We're still learning. We're still building. And we definitely don't have it all figured out. But our faith keeps us grounded as we take the next step, care for what God has placed in our hands, and trust Him with what comes next.
We hope Dancing Meadows becomes a place where people feel welcome, find something they love, and experience a little beauty and kindness along the way.
